Newer materials with unique properties are needed to cater the ever-increasing industrial demands meet new challenges concerning technological advancements. Quest for special and processes is prevalent as conventional fail level up. Composite promisingly bridge this gap by providing controllable at reasonable costs. Their scope of application can further be drastically enhanced subjecting them surface processing treatments. Friction stir (FSP) one such promising process that stringent applicational demands. Composites increasingly being used in industries like high strength weight ratio, increased hardness, stiffness, ductility, corrosion resistance, etc. FSP, a solid-state material modification technique, has proved its caliber composite fabrication. Some attention-seeking advantages FSP include peerless efficiency, less tool wear rate, ability modify locally some many advantages. Despite cost-effective also manages eliminate drawbacks manufacturing process. reinforces into parent attain specific properties. Properties so developed depend on parameters like: geometry, traverse speed, rotation number passes The present paper aims review comprehensive information fabrication composites parameters, properties, applications, future scope.
